HEATHERTON INDOOR BOWLING CLUB was officially opened by Richard Corsie on the 16th October 1994 The Club forms part of the Heatherton Country Sports Park Situated 1 mile from Tenby and is owned by Hugh and Charles Davies
A great deal of work and organisation was put in by the steering committee formed at an inaugural meeting in April 1993
Mr Tony Lamb, Club Secretary from day one did most of the spade work in setting everything up first he got the Club Affiliated to the Welsh Indoor Bowling Association in June 1994. Then set up all the internal leagues ,which began on 10th October 1994 followed by all the Club Tournaments His Contribution to to the Club over its lifetime has been invaluable and the Club owes him a great debt of gratitude Unfortunately owing to ill health he had to retire but was always there advise Ian Evans who is still secretary to this day The Management Committee meet once every month and deal with all the affairs of the Club domestics .
